Plot: Gripping and unpredictable
The Secret Prince is a great second novel to follow up Knightley Academy. Being already familiar with the characters meant that I was very interested in what would happen to them and the plot doesn't disappoint. What I liked most about this story - other than the interesting premise, the gripping events, and the great character developments and conflicts, of course - is the unpredictable nature of the plot. You think you can see where it's going, but after pages and pages of suspense that seems to be leading up to a certain point the outcome of the characters' efforts turns out to be something completely different and unexpected.
I won't say anymore except that I really want to find out what happens next, but alas, there isn't another book out yet!
