I've tried and failed to make myself interested in this show again after last season. Last season I was excited to see the direction Capaldi's new Doctor would take things and I reviewed every single episode, but this year I just can't bring myself to care. I watched the trailers and they were just uninteresting and full of the randomness that Moffatt seems to think is interesting.
I also tried watching the first episode and the scene with that kid the Doctor was about to save - especially when he said his name was Davros, did catch my attention - but then it just got ridiculous and boring and all over the place after that. I held on and watched in annoyance as we were forced to watch Clara yet again and all the UNIT randomness that she just doesn't pull off, and then Missy showing up and doing that stupid "friendship" monologue, and still I held on. But then when the electric guitar started going in the middle of an axe fight I was done.
Someone inform me when Moffatt's gone, please.
